Account Manager Germany
(40 hrs. workweek)
What’s your goal as Account Manager?
Your goal is to generate revenue by planning, creating and taking opportunities, develop market share, customer loyalty en relation management. You’ll collect strategic market data and you’ll follow market development closely. All activities are executed in collaboration with you inside sales colleague, with who you’ll team up. The focus is 70% retention and 30% new business. You are responsible for your client and together with your colleague your responsible for the revenue. One week you’re on the road in Germany and the other week you’re with your colleagues in Nederweert (NL).
What does a day look like when you’re on the road?
You’re excited a new day brings new opportunities! After a good night sleep, you’ll get out of your hotel room to get some breakfast. The night before you double checked today’s route. You already worked out your customer plans the week before, but during breakfast you quickly review them, just so you’re prepared. For today you’ll visit four customers and one prospect. For each of them you have exciting plans, with what you can challenge them. After a warm Promic talk, you stimulate the customers with knowledge from the market, with the aim of taking the customer's sales and Promic to a higher level. Conclusion: The customers include various new products in their assortment. You call your colleague (inside sales) to catch up. You discuss with each other which actions can be set out. After a dinner in the city where you are and a walk you decide to take a quick look at your plan for tomorrow and you still finish that one report ('that's only 15 minutes'). Tired, but full of energy because of the great meetings you close for today.
What do you bring?
You are a top scorer that effortlessly converts customer wishes into commercial opportunities. With your planned approach, you turn word into action. Of course you are goal-oriented and a true networker. Furthermore, we expect you to be a partner in your dialogues with our clients. You put customer satisfaction on 1 and that’s noticed in your conversations. You are also crazy about traveling!
Your must haves:
  • A bachelors diploma with commercial orientation;
  • Good command of the German language and in addition you also speak English and / or Dutch;
  • You know how to manage relationships, how you can work a market and also have at least 5 years of work experience in it;
  • A driver's license that allows you to leave directly in your company car to visit your (potential) customers in Germany.
